Agricultural Machinery Driveshaft Product Design

Apr 01, 2026

The driveshaft's main structure consists of a splined shaft, splined sleeve fork, and shaft tube. The universal joint employs an internal snap-fit design between the cross shaft and the bearing cup. The hollow structure of the cross shaft incorporates a grease nipple for easy lubrication and maintenance. The universal joint comprises a cross shaft, bearing cup, needle rollers, a seal ring, and a retaining ring. The seal ring has a triangular groove on its side, and the retaining ring has an L-shaped annular structure. To address the risk of overload under complex operating conditions, some driveshafts also integrate a torque overload protection structure. This structure transmits torque via pneumatic pressure, allowing for instantaneous pressure release and idling during overload to prevent component damage and extend service life. The splined shaft surface is coated with a nylon wear-resistant layer. The powder coating process optimizes the thickness to between 0.1mm and 5mm, reducing wear while maintaining power transmission accuracy.

The protective components include threaded washers and fasteners. The threaded section extends beyond 3/4 of the shaft's length to enhance anti-loosening performance. The sealing ring features a triangular groove with an opening width of 0.2mm-0.5mm on its side, forming a double sealing barrier with the L-shaped retaining ring to effectively block mud and debris generated during cultivation. The grease injection mechanism achieves quick grease filling through a base-spring linkage structure, and the sealing cap prevents grease leakage. Additionally, there is a protective cover design for agricultural machinery drive shafts, comprising a protective cylinder and a positioning cylinder, nested on the outside of the drive shaft. Opening the cover and pushing open the baffle facilitates the addition of lubricating oil to reduce friction. When the drive shaft rotates, the baffle closes the isolation chamber, bringing the sealing block into contact with the drive shaft. The cooperation between the limiting cylinder and the moving rod further enhances the sealing performance, preventing lubricating oil leakage and dust intrusion.
