Generator Case Cover

Generators operate continuously for long durations under varying loads. We have been manufacturing generator components since 2011 and have supplied housings for Sany Heavy Industry. Their generator systems are designed for continuous operation over extended periods, requiring reliable structural protection and thermal management.

This Generator Case Cover is used in turbine generators, diesel generator sets, permanent magnet generators, and backup power units. It provides structural protection for the rotor and stator while also assisting in heat dissipation during operation.

Materials include HT250 gray cast iron, QT500-7 ductile iron, and cold-rolled steel, selected to balance strength, rigidity, and thermal performance.

The wall thickness ranges from 6 to 20 mm, with customizable options available for higher load or special application requirements.

Machining accuracy is controlled to IT7–IT8 grade standards to ensure stable assembly and alignment.

Coaxiality and end face squareness are maintained within ≤0.03 mm to support smooth rotor operation and reduce vibration.

The protection rating is IP54–IP55, providing resistance against dust, oil mist, and splashing water.

The operating temperature range is -40°C to 150°C, suitable for both cold-start and high-temperature running conditions.

Surface treatments include anti-rust primer, high-temperature top coating, and electrostatic powder coating to improve corrosion resistance and durability.

Sealing performance ensures protection against dust, oil, and water ingress.
